To celebrate Georgia’s Independence Day and as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” the Shakhivska and Irkliivska communities held a joint cultural and educational event titled “The Taste of Georgia.”
The celebration took place at the “Cossack Lands of Ukraine” museum in the village of Veremiyivka, Zolotonosha District, Cherkasy Region.
The “Zolotonosha Battalion” and the “Shumovitsa” ensemble from the Irkliiv community prepared a concert program that brought guests together in an atmosphere of friendship, culture, and unity between the peoples of Ukraine and Georgia.
A master class was held for event participants by a representative from Georgia on preparing the traditional Georgian dish khachapuri, where everyone had the opportunity not only to try their hand at the culinary arts but also to experience the true flavor of Georgian traditions.
A creative workshop on bracelet weaving was held for children, where the young participants created their own colorful accessories and spent time in a friendly atmosphere.
Attendees had the opportunity to taste “field kitchen” dishes. It was a day filled with genuine emotions, cultural exchange, and unity!
