The Kalchitska rural community in Donetsk Oblast and the Gnivan urban community in Vinnytsia Oblast have become partners in the national project "Side by Side: United Communities."
The cooperation agreement was signed by Volodymyr Matyash, head of the Kalchitska rural military administration, and Volodymyr Kuleshov, head of the Gnivan urban community.
The memorandum outlines the main areas of cooperation:
- holding joint educational, cultural, and social events;
- exchange of experience in the field of community development and local self-government;
- digitization of administrative processes and introduction of modern services;
- development of youth and sports initiatives;
- support for business and economic projects.
Such cooperation will provide an opportunity to strengthen the institutional capacity of the community and introduce the latest effective practices in the work of the Kalchitsa SBA.
During the signing of the memorandum, Volodymyr Matyash emphasized that cooperation between communities is an important step for development, an opportunity to gain new experience, strengthen institutions, and support displaced persons from the Kalchitska community.
