Practice is the best way to turn knowledge into confident skills. For future chefs and confectioners from the DPTNZ "Kramatorsk Center for Vocational and Technical Education," it is also an opportunity to feel the rhythm of a professional kitchen in picturesque Truskavets.
Students studying for the profession of "Chef, Confectioner" undergo practical training at the sanatorium complex "Geneva" and the children's camp "Artek-Prikarpattia," which operate on a shared territory. These are modern establishments with high standards of nutrition, service, and work organization. Serving two large banquet halls for 900 people is a responsible part of the daily tasks of the trainees.
Under the guidance of experienced chefs, students participate in all stages of kitchen work - from menu planning to serving dishes. They master modern culinary technologies, work with professional equipment, and study the peculiarities of food organization in health and children's recreation facilities.
Practice in Truskavets is not only professional growth but also new acquaintances, teamwork, and inspiration. Upon returning home to their native Donetsk region, students will bring back not only valuable experience but also a desire to continue developing and creating true culinary art.
