Summer, sun, children's laughter, and carefree days – this is how the health campaign of 2025 is taking place at the Communal Enterprise "Regional Children's and Youth Sanatorium and Health Complex 'Pearl of Donetsk'."
Representatives of local communities in the Donetsk region visited the recreation and health facility "Pearl of Donetsk," located in the picturesque village of Polyana on the basis of the clinical sanatorium "Sunny Transcarpathia."
During the visit, the living, recreation, and health conditions were inspected, which allowed for assurance of the comfort and safety of the children's stay.
The spacious, well-equipped area amidst the mountain air creates ideal conditions for active recreation. All activities take place outdoors: battles, trout fishing, excursions, ethnic festivals with trembita and Christmas horn, forest hikes, lively discos, and competitions between teams. The children enjoyed swimming in the pool, and the trip to the water park left incredible impressions!
Meals are organized in a buffet format with a wide selection of delicious and healthy dishes. The children stay in comfortable rooms with all amenities.
Parents and children are extremely satisfied! The atmosphere in the camp was very friendly, and the phrase most often heard was: "We want to come back next year!"
For children from among the IDPs, it is extremely important to have the opportunity for subsidized health treatment — this is not just a vacation, but also psychological support and new acquaintances that bring joy and hope.
Happy eyes, smiles, warm words of gratitude — this is the best confirmation that we are on the right path. Because even during the war, children have the right to summer, joy, and care.
Representatives of local administrations who visited the camp saw for themselves: "Pearl of Donetsk" is a place where summer gains bright colors, and childhood becomes even happier.
