Thanks to the support of international and civil society organizations and associations, humanitarian hubs/centers located in safer regions of Ukraine continue to provide various forms of humanitarian assistance to internally displaced persons.
Currently, there are 100 locations in 19 regions of Ukraine, serving approximately 254,000 residents of Donetsk region (including 50,000 children). During 2025, Donetsk residents received the following assistance:
- 455,300 food kits;
- 58,500 non-food items: hygiene kits, household chemicals, sets of clothing and footwear, sets of dishes, bed linen, blankets, mattresses, heaters, power banks, salt lamps, stationery sets;
- 122,300 medical and other items: diapers for children and adults, medicines, vitamins, adult diapers, urological pads, personal hygiene kits, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, baby strollers, feeding tables, playpens, toys, etc.
In addition to humanitarian aid, evacuated residents of Donetsk Oblast received a wide range of services throughout the year:
- 8,100 consultations on social issues, pensions, and employment;
- 20,400 consultations on legal issues and legal aid;
- 21,200 consultations on medical care, treatment, and examinations;
- 2,000 consultations on mental health;
- 26,500 consultations (meetings, events, trainings, webinars) on psychological assistance and adaptation for children and youth;
- 4,800 educational, training, and motivational events;
- 15,500 cultural and entertainment events;
- 1,600 sporting events.
The work of humanitarian hubs/centers is a lifeline for many people who, due to the war, find themselves in difficult life circumstances and are forced to integrate into a new environment.
