The hubs of Donetsk region, together with partners, provide assistance and support to IDPs.

Thanks to the support of international and public organizations and associations, humanitarian hubs/centers located in safer regions of Ukraine continue to provide various humanitarian assistance to internally displaced persons.

Currently, 99 locations are operating in 19 regions of Ukraine, serving over 236.8 thousand. residents of the Donetsk region (including 47.3 thousand children). Since the beginning of this year, residents of Donetsk have received the following assistance:

  • 195.8 thousand food packages;
  • 26.5 thousand non-food items: hygiene kits, household chemicals, clothing and footwear sets, dish sets, bed linen, blankets, mattresses, heaters, power banks, salt lamps, stationery sets;
  • 43.4 thousand. medical and other products: baby and adult diapers, medicines, vitamins, adult pads, urological pads, personal hygiene kits, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, baby strollers, feeding tables, playpens, toys, etc.

In addition to humanitarian assistance, evacuated residents of the Donetsk region have received a wide range of services since the beginning of the year:

  • 1.8 thousand consultations on social issues, pension provision, and employment;
  • 11.4 thousand consultations on legal issues, provision of legal assistance;
  • 13.4 thousand consultations regarding medical assistance, treatment, examinations;
  • 900 consultations on mental health;
  • 13.8 thousand consultations (meetings, events, training, webinars) on psychological assistance, adaptation for children and youth;
  • 2.7 thousand educational, training, and motivational events;
  • 4.9 thousand cultural and entertainment events;
  • 700 sports events.

The work of humanitarian hubs/centers is a lifeline for many people who, due to the war, find themselves in difficult life circumstances and are forced to integrate into a new environment.

Humanitarian assistance to residents of Donetsk has been provided with the support of international charitable, public organizations, and associations: IOM, Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) in partnership with Howard G. Buffett Foundation (HGBF), International Rescue Committee, "CARE Ukraine", "Rokada", UNICEF, Brothers Mkrtchan Charity Fund, "Help Ukraine", "Let's Help Together", "Rinat Akhmetov Foundation", "Caritas", "Proliska", "Bee", "Helping", "Center", "Wave of Help", "Ukraine is You", "Good Deeds Fund", "From Person to Person", and others.

We express our sincere gratitude for the care, respect, participation, support, and assistance. We hope for further fruitful cooperation with people who care about the life and health of those in need of help.
