Residents of the Khlibodarivska and Vuhledarska communities in Donetsk Oblast and the Lopushnenska community in Ternopil Oblast worked together at a master class on recitation.
The event was held as part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities" and the recitation competition "Voice of the Generation," which will run until March 20.
The speaker at the event was Svitlana Fomenko, director of the Vilnensky Cultural Center in the Khlibodarivska community in Donetsk Oblast and winner of national and international recitation competitions, who spoke about the main stages of preparation for reading: choosing poetry, working on phonetics and articulation, logical stress and intonation. Special attention was paid to emotional expressiveness and practical exercises to improve the delivery of the text.
During the class, the technique of working with poetry was analyzed, and the importance of pauses, accelerations, and accents was discussed. Participants received useful advice on shooting and editing competition videos so that their works would not only be meaningful but also well-designed.
The master class provided an opportunity to develop creative skills, self-expression, and promote the Ukrainian language.
