From August 15 to 29, a training camp for the WAKO kickboxing team of Donetsk Oblast under the guidance of Artem Driga, a coach and teacher at the Oblast Children's and Youth Sports School, took place in Falesti, Moldova.
For two weeks, the athletes worked intensively on their physical and technical training, making the most of the time. Such perseverance will be the key to future success in international arenas.
We are grateful to the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Donetsk Regional State Administration for the financial support that made this important stage of preparation possible.
Very soon - from September 12 to 21 - the Donetsk team will travel to the Italian city of Lido di Jesolo, where the WAKO European Kickboxing Championship among boys and juniors will take place.
