The Donetsk Youth Palace "Yunist" invited students from across the region to participate in the online competition "Autumn Festival," which turned into a veritable gallery of children's imagination and love for nature.

Secondary schools, extracurricular institutions, vocational (technical) schools, and higher education institutions in the Donetsk region took part. The competition entries were impressive in their diversity and creativity: 518 photos of crafts made from vegetables and fruits – true culinary and decorative masterpieces; 534 photos of appliqués made from autumn leaves – from delicate landscapes to fairy-tale characters.

A total of 40 educational institutions took part in the competition. But the most important thing was the audience's participation: more than 5,500 visitors to the Palace's website took part in the online voting, choosing their favorites and turning the competition into a big autumn celebration of good emotions.

According to the results of the audience vote, the "Audience Choice Award" went to:

Nomination "Crafts from vegetables and fruits"

  • Alan Titovsky – Municipal institution "Mariupol Specialized School No. 66 of the Mariupol City Council of the Donetsk Region."

Nomination "Leaf Application"

  • Sofia Averkina – Base Institution "Torets Secondary School No. 6" of the Torets City Military Administration of the Bakhmut District, Donetsk Region.

This competition reminded us that autumn is not only a time of nature's generosity, but also a time for beauty and creativity. Each work reflects the warmth of the heart and the ability to see the world in bright colors even when the leaves are falling outside the window.
