Mariupol Reborn space in Lviv will host an exhibition by Hanna Kisilishyna "47.82846°N 37.71093°E".
The exposition consists of a series of paintings created by the teacher, psychologist, artist and mother of the fallen soldier of the Azov Regiment, Oleksiy Kisilishyn.
This was reported by Mariupol - Tourist City.
The name of the exhibition is the coordinates of barracks #200 in Olenivka, where on the night of July 28-29, 2022, Russia committed a terrorist attack that killed at least 53 Ukrainian prisoners of war. Oleksiy was among them.
The exhibition is about the power to live on, to remember, to create new meanings and to find inner light. It is the result of Hanna's training in the mARTen art project by Kyiv-based artist Oleh Yurov.
The exhibition was first presented in Kyiv at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, which is a symbol of the spiritual core of Ukraine. There, art became a space for internal dialog and shared memory. Lviv will be the second city in Ukraine to host this exhibition.
During the opening, visitors will be able to hear a curatorial tour from the author. Additional events are also possible as part of the exhibition: meetings with the artist, chamber readings, art talks, and commemorative events. This will help to reveal the theme of the exhibition in more depth, unite the community in the joint commemoration and development of the culture of memory.
The exhibition will run from September 30 to October 14, for more information: (063) 469-63-96
