As part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities," schoolchildren from the Kostyantynivka and Oleksandriya communities held a video marathon entitled "Poetic Stained Glass: Reading Shevchenko."

The marathon was joined by students in grades 5–10 from the educational complex "General Education School I–III Levels – Preschool Educational Institution" of the Kostyantynivka City Council in Donetsk Oblast and the "Suzirya – 19" Gymnasium of the Oleksandriya City Council in Kirovohrad Oblast.

The event was dedicated to Shevchenko Days and became another vivid example of cooperation and spiritual unity between communities. The students joined a shared creative space where everyone had the opportunity to feel part of the great Ukrainian cultural heritage.

Throughout the week, the students recorded videos reciting Taras Shevchenko's poems — insightfully, sincerely, and with a deep understanding of the content of the works. Both experienced young readers and those who tried their hand at expressive reading for the first time joined the video marathon. The students' performances were combined into a coherent mosaic, where each word became an important part of a great artistic plot.

All materials are posted on a shared Padlet board created specifically for Shevchenko Days. This format allowed students to view each other's performances, support their friends with warm words, and feel a living connection between communities, despite the distance.

The "Poetic Stained Glass" video marathon became not only a creative initiative, but also a symbol of unity, mutual support, and shared values. After all, Shevchenko's words are particularly relevant today — they inspire, strengthen faith, and unite Ukrainians.
