As part of the all-Ukrainian project "Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities," students from general secondary education institutions of the Kostiantynivka city community took a virtual tour of the ancient yet modern city on the Uzh River — Uzhhorod.

During the virtual journey, the children "strolled" through the streets of the ancient city, immersed themselves in the atmosphere of cozy streets and embankments, and discovered one of the unique features of the city — the tradition of installing mini-sculptures, which have become a true hallmark of Uzhhorod and adorn the embankments, bridges, and buildings. Each of them has its own story, symbolism, and interesting facts that the participants of the tour had the opportunity to learn about.

A special fascination was sparked by the selection of the top 10 most beautiful places in Uzhhorod — from ancient streets to picturesque landscapes. The students saw the city from a bird's-eye view, felt the spirit of the Middle Ages during a virtual walk through Uzhhorod Castle, and immersed themselves in the atmosphere of Western Ukrainian culture.

This excursion not only enriched the participants' knowledge about one of the most colorful corners of Ukraine but also contributed to the development of cognitive interest, cultural awareness, and a sense of unity between the communities of eastern and western Ukraine.

The project "Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities" continues to unite children from the Uzhhorod and Kostiantynivka city territorial communities, creating a space for learning, communication, and mutual support even from a distance.
