Ukrainian Kickboxing K-1 Cup: athletes from Kramatorsk won 8 medals

On June 21–22, the K-1 Ukrainian Kickboxing Cup took place in the city of Bucha, Kyiv region, dedicated to the memory of fallen Defenders. More than 300 participants from 13 regions of Ukraine entered the ring of the "Sports Academy" sports complex.

Among the most outstanding performances was the result of the Donetsk region team, represented by Kramatorsk athletes under the guidance of coach Volodymyr Lykhobaba. The athletes demonstrated confident fights, strength of character, and true team unity, winning eight awards: 2 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals.

 The gold medals were won by:

  • Tigran Arakelov (6–7 years, up to 32 kg),
  • Timofiy Yashchenko (6–7 years, up to 25 kg).

The silver awards were won by:

  • Maxim Lekhanov (8–9 years, up to 45 kg),
  • Vladislav Ventskovsky (12–13 years, up to 54 kg),
  • Roman Karnauk (10–11 years, over 55 kg).

The bronze medals were received by:

  • Herman Lysenko (10–11 years, up to 54 kg),
  • Kyril Savchuk (10–11 years, up to 54 kg),
  • Ivan Hishchak (14–15 years, up to 76 kg).

The participation of athletes from Donetsk in these prestigious competitions became possible thanks to the active support of the sports community.
