The International Association of Extracurricular Education and partner organizations summarized the results of the extracurricular sector in Ukraine.
On December 8, 2025, the Ukrinform agency held a press conference entitled "Extracurricular Education – 2025: Ten Achievements," where the key achievements of the year were presented.
Ten nominations reflected the most notable successes and developments in Ukraine's extracurricular education. The Donetsk Regional Center for Tourism and Local History for Schoolchildren won an award in the category "Successful Extracurricular Education Projects" for its high-quality presentation of the "Sich Nezlamnykh" training camp, which took place in July this year in Khmelnytskyi region and brought together 200 children from Donetsk region.
The award confirms the stability and determination of the institution, as well as the professional work of the entire team. This recognition motivates us to move forward and affirm the importance of extracurricular education as a space for growth, upbringing, and the formation of conscious citizens of Ukraine.
