Based at the IDP support center "SELIDOVE.UA" in Kamyanske, a summer camp "Summer of Discoveries" has been organized and is operating, where children receive not only new knowledge but also care, support, and the opportunity to simply be happy.
In a short time, the summer camp surprised children with interesting events and activities, creating a space for new knowledge, friendship, and bright memories.
They started with a bright event "Summer of Discoveries," where children tested their abilities in the quest "Stations of the Clever, Inventive, Creative, and Physically Developed" and participated in a training session to improve emotional well-being titled "Cowboy, Toaster, Elephant, Giraffe, Princess."
English language classes are held in an interesting way, not in the usual lesson format, but in a fun, dynamic game format. Children embarked on an exciting journey to the country of Englishland, where English was present in every task and every song.
No one remained indifferent to the delicious and warm event — a culinary master class. In a friendly atmosphere, children not only learned to make pizza but also created small culinary masterpieces filled with joy and inspiration. The master class became not only a fun culinary adventure but also a wonderful opportunity for children to develop skills in collaboration, creativity, and self-expression.
An unforgettable hike became not only a fun adventure but also a true test of endurance, cleverness, and teamwork. Camp participants mastered the art of knot tying, went through an exciting quest "In Search of Treasures," engaged in hiking, and participated in sports games that strengthened their spirit and will to win.
Friendly conversations by the campfire, psychological unloading, integration, and shared moments of joy contributed to the deep socialization of children. They learned to support each other, discovered new facets of friendship, and explored the surrounding world in harmony with nature.
A meeting with an unusual guest, the therapy dog Hibuki, is a chance to give children a sense of security, trust, and care. Hibuki therapy is a unique method of psychological support for children that helps them overcome stress, emotional tension, and experiences. During the training, children not only met a new friend but also learned to express their feelings, find inner resources, and receive warmth and support through communication with Hibuki.
The "Summer of Discoveries" camp changes children, giving them new impressions, emotions, and memories that will stay in their hearts for a long time.
