Educators from our region continue to achieve outstanding results on the international stage. One such success was the victory of a representative from Donetsk Oblast in the “Socrates’ Sun” International Teaching Excellence Competition, which brings together creative teachers and young researchers ready to introduce innovations into modern schools.
First place in the “Integrated Lesson (Elementary Education)” category was awarded to Tetiana Hraminska, a fourth-year student at the Pokrovsk Pedagogical College. Under the guidance of instructor Lyubov Degtyareva, she presented a lesson plan in which the study of mathematics is closely intertwined with interesting facts about Ukraine. This approach teaches children to count, sparks their curiosity about their homeland, and fosters a genuine sense of pride in their country.
The expert jury highly praised the author’s creative boldness and her ability to transform an ordinary lesson into an exciting journey. Despite all the challenges, Donetsk Oblast continues to train specialists whose energy and knowledge will form the foundation for the restoration of our region and the development of the modern Ukrainian school.
