“The Future Belongs to the Strong”: Meeting with Veterans in Kyiv

Published 30 September 2025 year, 11:50

On September 29, the Kyiv Resilience Center hosted a warm yet profoundly important meeting with veterans under the title “The Future Belongs to the Strong.”

The event was held in a mixed format (offline/online) and brought together numerous participants: representatives of organizations working on veteran policy, institutions of higher education, civil society groups, veterans, and their families. Among the participants was Maryna Pyrlik, Head of the Career Guidance Department of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center.

The day was dedicated to one core goal – supporting those who gave their strength and courage for Ukraine. Veterans and their families are not left alone with the challenges of civilian life; alongside them are people ready to provide support and help in the search for new opportunities.

Maryna Pyrlik presented the services of the Employment Service, which help veterans open a new chapter in life:

  • professional orientation and career counseling to find fulfilling work;

  • job matching through the Unified Job Portal;

  • the “eRobota” program – grants for those who want to start their own business;

  • training and retraining in line with the needs of today’s labor market;

  • psychological support and training to restore self-confidence.

“Every veteran deserves decent work and the opportunity to realize their potential. Our mission is to stand by their side, making this path simpler and more confident,” emphasized the employment service specialist.
