Director's platform "What about you?": heads of secondary schools discuss the results of regional monitoring of distance learning quality

On October 23, 2025, the web platform of the Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education for Heads of General Secondary Education Institutions hosted a regular lesson within the framework of the Principal's Platform "What about you?". This time, the participants learned about the peculiarities of regional monitoring of the quality of the educational process using distance technologies, conducted by the Eastern Interregional Department of the State Education Quality Service of Ukraine.

Lyudmyla Meleshko, Director of the Educational Complex "Secondary School of I-III Degrees No. 7 - Preschool Educational Institution" of the Dobropole City Council of Donetsk, shared her experience of participating in the monitoring. of Dobropillia City Council, Donetsk Oblast. She highlighted the peculiarities of visits to lessons by experts of the service, their recommendations on the organization of synchronous and asynchronous learning, adherence to the principles of academic integrity, content of the institution's website, etc. Special attention during the monitoring was paid to analyzing the effectiveness of teachers' use of digital tools, recording student attendance, and creating an inclusive online environment.

The presented materials include questionnaires used by experts, recommendations on the algorithm of actions for the teaching staff in case of participation in such monitoring, samples of educational presentations developed by teachers of the institution for asynchronous lessons, and a generalized report of the State Service for Quality Education of Ukraine, based on the results of the first stage of regional monitoring of the quality of the educational process using distance learning technologies in general secondary schools of Donetsk, Kharkiv and Luhansk regions.

Participants received recommendations for improving the quality of distance learning based on the experience, recommendations of the State Education Quality Service of Ukraine and current legislation.
