On August 12, 2025, as part of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities," a regular meeting of the Andriyivka and Berezivka rural territorial communities was held, the occasion of which was a demonstration workshop on making a motanka doll, one of the oldest Ukrainian symbols of amulets.
The event was prepared by the Serhiyivka Youth Leisure Center of the Andriyivka Village Council and turned into a sincere and meaningful meeting of like-minded people united by common values, deep respect for national heritage and a desire for unity.
The participants had the opportunity to observe the process of making motanka, learn about its sacred meaning, and communicate, share their emotions and personal experiences. The warm atmosphere, sincere human communication and cultural openness filled the meeting with a special meaning and left a sense of an important common cause.
This event proved once again that when communities are open to interaction, exchange of traditions and simple human dialogue, not only the connection between people but also the inner strength of each of us grows stronger. Such events are a step toward mutual understanding, restoration and preservation of cultural heritage, and spiritual unity in a time of great challenges for the country.
