On the eve of the Christmas holidays, as part of the cultural and artistic event ‘Marathon of Good Deeds’, teachers and students of the Ivan Karabits Bakhmut College of Culture and Arts presented gifts to children from different parts of Donetsk region who are currently staying at the Sanatorium and Health Centre for Social Rehabilitation ‘Emerald City’ in Orinino, Khmelnytskyi region, a warm artistic gathering filled with lively music and a genuine festive atmosphere.
Everyone present at the meeting felt the pre-Christmas atmosphere that reigned in the hall, and the concert programme, which combined different genres and timbres, created a complete musical story. The chamber choir and chamber orchestra performed on stage, impressing the audience with their harmony and depth of sound. The Concertino ensemble and vocal ensemble added bright colours, performing the most popular works by Ukrainian and foreign composers, and young Donetsk residents sang the most famous hits together with the artists.
The young audience also enjoyed the performance of the instrumental ensemble, while the Forza wind and percussion ensemble filled the space with the energy and dynamism characteristic of winter holidays.
The audience also enjoyed performances by pianists, violinists, saxophonists, xylophonists, accordionists and flutists. Each piece sounded like a personal musical story, combining professional skill, emotion and a sincere love of art.
This concert confirmed that the ‘Marathon of Good Events’ is a campaign that brings warm memories of home, faith in miracles, and the inevitable victory of light over darkness in these difficult times.
