On June 25, Natalia Adamova, acting director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, held an informational meeting on educational opportunities through the employment service's voucher program, together with representatives of Metinvest Polytechnic Technical University.
“Training with vouchers is a real chance for those who want to change their profession or acquire a new specialty,” said Natalia Adamova. “Thanks to this program, you can master modern professions that are in demand on the labor market, from engineering and IT to medicine and education. And most importantly, all this is with state support.”
Vadym Pukhalskyi, Head of the Development Department at Metinvest Polytechnic, confirmed the university's readiness to train students under the voucher program. He presented the bachelor's and master's degree programs and emphasized the possibility of combining study with work thanks to a flexible schedule. Importantly, the training programs are closely integrated with practical work at Metinvest Group enterprises. This allows students to immediately apply the knowledge they have gained in a real production environment and gain prospects for future employment.
Special attention was paid to equal opportunities for all: women, just like men, can build a career in technical and engineering specialties. Stereotypes are gradually fading away, giving way to professionalism, motivation, and the desire for development.
Employment service specialists explained the conditions for obtaining a voucher and the procedure for submitting applications, both online and through the employment center. They also explained who can take advantage of this opportunity. The main categories include citizens aged 45 and older, veterans, displaced persons, and others.
The meeting ended with an agreement on further cooperation to expand opportunities for those who want to learn a new profession and develop their career path.
