True miracles know no boundaries, especially when people with big hearts take the initiative. Thanks to the volunteer organization Ukrainer in Trier (Trier, Germany) and its leader Anna Zorinova, a group of children from Dobropillya and Lviv joined an international New Year's initiative and traveled to Cologne.
The event was preceded by systematic volunteer work. As part of the campaign "Good deeds have great power!", the children greeted veterans and military personnel with Christmas greetings. The initiative was a logical continuation of the ongoing participation of Dobropillia students in the "Youth Volunteer Movement," which continues throughout the school year.
All activities are carried out with the support of local authorities as part of the implementation of the Veterans Policy Strategy for the period up to 2030.
The trip is attended by students of the Prestige acting studio of the Dobropillya Children's and Youth Center. During the week, they will enjoy a rich educational program that includes visits to a world-famous chocolate factory, one of Europe's leading zoos, an ice skating rink, as well as participation in a light show and a walk through the historic city center decorated with Christmas lights.
A separate element of the initiative is accommodation in the central part of the city, which allows children to become more familiar with the cultural environment and Christmas traditions of Europe.
The international New Year initiative is an example of effective volunteer cooperation and support for Ukrainian children. For participants, it has become an opportunity to recharge their emotional batteries, gain new experiences, and find inspiration for further creative development.
