Despite their proximity to the front line, residents of Donetsk region continue to seek opportunities for growth and development. On June 11, specialists from the Sloviansk Administration of the Kramatorsk Branch, together with Deputy Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center Ihor Rybalchenko, deployed a mobile employment center in the settlement of Cherkaske to provide career consultations directly within the community.
Right on site, job seekers were able to explore current vacancies both within their community and across Ukraine, including remote work opportunities and positions offering accommodation. They received referrals and participated in online interviews with employers.
Visitors were also taught how to create modern résumés, introduced to grant programs for aspiring entrepreneurs, and informed about financial support available for local businesses, including the “Point of Support” recovery program.
Special attention was given to supporting combat veterans and people who acquired disabilities as a result of the war. Dedicated government programs are available for each category to facilitate employment or help launch their own businesses. People aged 50+ were also offered participation in the new “Experience Matters” project, which provides opportunities for free training and internships.
This outreach format enables residents of remote communities to access assistance without the need to travel to larger cities.
