Representatives of the Donetsk Region Youth Congress, led by Oleksandr Nesterenko, participated in the "Carpathian Integration Initiative" International Summit. The event served as a powerful platform for discussing interregional cooperation, economic recovery, and Ukraine’s integration into the European space.
As part of the event's packed agenda, youth leaders actively engaged in the economic forum, presenting their vision for post-war recovery, support for relocated businesses, and investment attraction to create new jobs and develop educational and innovative spaces.
On the sidelines of the summit, delegates established important partnerships with international youth organizations and representatives of European communities, laying the groundwork for future joint humanitarian, cultural, and educational projects.
A key aspect of their participation was a series of high-level meetings where youth from the Donetsk region had the opportunity to speak with the President of Ukraine, the Prime Minister, relevant ministers, and heads of state institutions. They discussed key priorities for state youth policy, the expansion of support programs for internally displaced youth, and the involvement of active young people in decision-making processes at all levels of government.
The Youth Congress's participation in an international event of this scale once again demonstrated that the youth of the Donetsk region are active participants in state-building and reliable partners in fostering international ties and advancing our country's European integration.
