The practice of the Youth Council under the Donetsk Regional State Administration “Creation of the Board Cognitive Game “Code of Donetsk Region”” became the winner of the competition “Best Practices of Youth Work of Ukraine 2025” in the nomination “Confirmation of Ukrainian National and Civic Identity”.
Every year, the competition recognizes initiatives that strengthen youth policy and create new opportunities for youth development. In 2025, 199 practices from all over Ukraine were submitted for participation. Among them are educational, cultural, volunteer and innovative projects aimed at supporting young people and developing their potential. The winners were 10 practices that will be included in the Catalog of Best Practices of Youth Work in Ukraine 2025.
“Code of Donetsk Region” is a board cognitive game created by the youth of the region to popularize the historical and cultural heritage of Donetsk Region, form Ukrainian identity and develop informal education. The practice was presented in the “Beginners” category and received high marks for its innovation and social significance.
The “Best Practices of Youth Work in Ukraine 2025” competition is held by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Youth Center with the assistance of the UNDP Ukraine project “Support to Civil Society and Youth” and funding from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
