In the communities of Donetsk region, online events were held on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as part of the regional campaign “Guardian of Indestructibility”, organized by the Department of Family, Youth and Mass Events of National and Patriotic Education of the regional state administration together with the platform “Center for Unity and National Resistance”.
The main goal of the campaign was not just to present gifts. First of all, the initiative is aimed at strengthening the morale of the military, especially those who were wounded, and at supporting the soldiers, so that they feel that the youth of Donetsk region remembers their feat, appreciates their courage and is always ready to express their gratitude.
As part of the campaign, the youth of the Grodno, Myrnyn, Bakhmut, Pokrov, Velykonovoselkiv, Selydiv, Svyatohirsk, Olhyn and Staromlyniv communities actively participated in the celebration of this day in an offline format.
Young people showed sincerity and care: they visited the military in hospitals, giving them gifts, postcards and amulets; they met with the defenders in person to thank them for their service and support them with kind words; they organized events during which they created their own gifts, prepared greetings and spoke about the importance of unity around our soldiers.
