





The youth of Donetsk region took part in the Forum of Youth Councils of Frontline Regions, which was held in the city of Zaporizhia and brought together over 130 participants from nine regions of Ukraine (Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Luhansk, Kherson, Mykolaiv). The forum became an important platform for exchanging experiences, establishing partnerships and developing new approaches to the development of frontline communities.
Representatives of Donetsk region presented the results of their activities - from the restoration of youth spaces to the implementation of initiatives aimed at ensuring sustainable development of communities. Participants emphasized the need to move from emergency solutions to long-term projects in order to form a positive image of Donetsk region as a region of opportunities.
An important result of the forum was the signing of a declaration on the creation of the Consortium of Youth Councils of Frontline Regions of Ukraine. Its activities will be aimed at expanding youth participation in public life, strengthening social cohesion, creating a safe environment, developing economic capacity and supporting the psycho-emotional state of young people.
As part of the forum program, the delegation of Donetsk region visited the underground school "Logos", the youth center "Pipl.UA" and the memorial "Tree of Memory". The final stage was an excursion to Khortytsia Island, which allowed participants to get acquainted with the historical and cultural heritage of the region.
The youth of Donetsk region returned with new ideas, practical experiences and a vision of further steps in the development of youth policy in the region.
The event was organized by the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration, Zaporizhia City Council and Zaporizhia Regional Youth Council with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
