The Donetsk “Yunist” Youth Palace invites active young people and educators to join the Regional Virtual Plogging Marathon “Plogging—The Trend of the Future,” dedicated to World Cleanup Day.
Plogging is a modern international movement that combines physical activity (running or brisk walking) with picking up litter. It’s a great opportunity to combine caring for your own health with cleaning up and beautifying your hometown.
Teachers and students from the Donetsk region are invited to participate. Participants will represent their own educational institutions. There is no limit on the number of participants from a single institution.
To participate in the Marathon, please send the following to the Palace’s email address [email protected] by September 15, 2026, inclusive:
- a participation application using the provided form (a separate application must be submitted for each participant);
- a video marked “Marathon.”
The video must confirm the author’s personal participation in the Marathon and clearly show the plogging process. The content must include footage of both the actual movement along the route (running or brisk walking) and the collection of household trash at the selected location. Filming must be conducted in accordance with safety rules and aesthetic standards.
