Participant of the regional contest "Young Person of the Year – 2025" in the nomination "Youth Worker of the Year" Daria Yesipova
Daria Yesipova, an eleventh-grader at Sviatohirsk Secondary School, has striven not just to see but also to create good since childhood. Her sincere kindness, empathy, and readiness to support others have made her the soul of the community's youth council. As the council's secretary, she initiated numerous volunteer projects: together with other young people, they raised funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine by baking pastries, making trench candles, and painting shell casings. These funds were used to purchase a laptop, a charging station for drones, an automotive electronic system scanner, to repair a car, and to buy a phone for the defenders.
Daria also actively participated in the UNICEF project "Self-Confidence" in the Donetsk region and takes part in cultural events that unite and develop her community. She believes in the power of youth and strives to show that now is the time for change.
Daria's creativity is another way she inspires people. She creates drawings that radiate light and hope, writes poetry that is a sincere response from her heart, and her guitar playing fills the space with warmth. This is her way of communicating with the world and healing souls.
The war and the occupation of her native Sviatohirsk became a special trial for Daria. However, she did not break; on the contrary, she became the voice of the youth and a symbol of the community's resilience. She supported those who found themselves in difficult circumstances, finding the strength for words, songs, and actions that helped preserve faith and unite people.
Thanks to her determination, Daria participates in city, regional, national, and international competitions, conferences, and trainings that promote the development of leadership and civic skills.
Daria dreams of new projects and a future that she is already creating today. Her story is a beam of light that breaks through the darkness, a gentleness that holds the community together, and a strength that inspires.
