This was reported by the Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.

"Today I had the honor of presenting awards to the winners of the regional contest 'Young Person of the Year 2025'. This year, the selection was held in the following categories: 'On Guard for Life', 'Critical Infrastructure Worker of the Year', 'Community Leader of the Year', 'A Heart Devoted to Donetsk Region', 'Guardian of Law and Order', 'Rescuer of the Year', and 'Youth Worker of the Year'.

One of the most important categories — 'Unbroken: The Spirit and Valor of Donetsk Region' — due to the large number of applications and worthy candidates, was divided into two subcategories: 'Veterans' and 'Servicemen'."

He expressed his sincere gratitude to special guests who joined the celebration of Donetsk region’s youth: actor and director Akhtem Seitablaiev, and musician Mykhailo Stasula — "Scorpion", author of the legendary song "Beyond the Spoil Heaps". He also thanked Kyrylo Pariienko and singer Yalla for their wonderful musical gifts to the audience.

"Sharing the stage with such young people is truly a great honor, because despite their age, each of them changes our country for the better every day. Young people from Donetsk region defend the country, save lives, heal, teach, achieve top sporting victories, and most importantly — love their region and their country with all their hearts!

I sincerely thank each contestant for their active life stance and tireless work for the future of Ukraine!"

Today, for their significant personal contribution to the implementation of state youth policy and national-patriotic education of young people, workers of military administrations, educators, servicemen, and community activists were presented with certificates from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, honorary badges "Badge of Honor", and letters of gratitude from the Donetsk Regional State Administration.

"Once again, I am convinced that our youth want to see Donetsk region flourishing and developed, and are doing everything possible to make this happen — both on the front lines and in the rear! For our part, we will continue to support youth initiatives and projects.

Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all participants of the contest!" — emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
