Hryhorii Andreichenko is a participant in the Young Person of the Year 2026 regional competition in the "Youth Initiatives Catalyst" nomination. He is a youth worker, volunteer, and community leader dedicated to empowering young people in Donetsk Region.
After being forced to leave his home because of the full-scale war, Hryhorii continued supporting young people by relaunching the "Vilni" Youth Center in an online format. Through educational, cultural, and volunteer initiatives, he has helped unite young people from the Khlibodarivka community and Volnovakha district despite displacement.
As a co-founder of the NGO "Time of the Free," Hryhorii has led several youth projects, including "Reading Club of the Free," "Voice of Youth," and an initiative promoting the integration of internally displaced persons. These projects have engaged more than 300 young people, helping them develop leadership skills, civic engagement, creativity, and social responsibility.
Hryhorii is a member of the Youth Council under the Donetsk Regional State Administration and the Regional Youth Congress, contributing to the development of regional youth policy. He is also a creative artist, actively promotes Ukrainian language and culture, and has been a regular blood donor for Ukraine's defenders since 2022. Through his work, Hryhorii demonstrates that youth are a powerful force for positive change and the future recovery of Donetsk Region.
