Tetyana Gebesh, a participant in the regional “Young Person of the Year – 2026” contest in the “Energy of Care and Support” category
A native of Avdiivka, Tetyana Gebesh is a social services specialist who has dedicated her professional career to helping people.
As a Chief Specialist of the Department of Labour and Social Relations, she contributes daily to the implementation of Ukraine's social policy by providing consultations and assisting citizens in resolving important social issues. Her work is guided by the principles of humanity, responsibility, and respect for every individual.
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, she has actively volunteered by preparing and distributing humanitarian aid and delivering food packages to elderly and mobility-impaired people. Today, she works at the evacuation (transit) centre in Lozova, Kharkiv region, where she welcomes evacuees, coordinates humanitarian assistance, provides consultations, and supports people until their departure. In 2026, she was awarded the "For Merits to the Community" distinction for her significant contribution to assisting civilians.
She is also a member of the Youth Council under the Avdiivka City Military Administration and actively participates in youth and patriotic initiatives. Her story is a powerful example of compassion, dedication, and selfless service to people.
