Vladislav Samusenko, a participant in the regional “Young Person of the Year – 2026” contest in the “Called to Save” category
Vladislav Samusenko has dedicated his life to helping people who find themselves in the most difficult circumstances. He has been volunteering since 2017, and with the start of the full-scale invasion, he founded and led the nonprofit organization “Rhythm of Our Life,” which carries out civilian evacuations, provides humanitarian response, and supports internally displaced persons.
Together with his team, Vladislav works in frontline communities in the Donetsk region, evacuating people from areas of active combat, delivering humanitarian aid, and coordinating efforts with government agencies, charitable foundations, and international partners. Throughout his work, he has saved hundreds of civilians, assisted the wounded, and participated in the evacuation of civilian casualties from combat zones.
A key focus of his work is collaboration with the “White Angels” unit of the National Police of Ukraine, military administrations, local government bodies, and volunteer organizations. Despite being wounded during a humanitarian mission, Vladislav continues to carry out his work, considering human life to be the highest value.
Through his actions, he proves every day that responsibility, compassion, and a willingness to act are a true calling to save people and serve Ukraine.
