Entrepreneurship among youth is not only a way of self-realization but also a powerful factor in the economic development of the country. Young entrepreneurs think outside the box, are open to innovations, and have ambitious goals. In the challenging conditions of today, they are capable of becoming the driving forces of change, creating new jobs and businesses that meet modern challenges.
The path to entrepreneurship is opened for young people by the grant program "Own Business." It provides startup capital, while the employment service offers support, guidance, consulting, and assistance at every stage of launching a business.
The youth of Donetsk region is not only the future but also a present force that is changing the region for the better. A vivid example is Vladislav Zelensky, a young entrepreneur from Sloviansk, who became the winner of the state grant program "Own Business" at the beginning of May.
After finishing school, Vladislav worked in the trade of household goods. During this time, he gained invaluable experience: he studied the market, understood demand, learned to work with suppliers, and formed a network of useful contacts. Now he is ready to use this knowledge in his own business — opening a plumbing store for bathrooms and kitchens.
"I have always wanted to be independent, work for myself, and create something of my own. This grant is a big step towards my dream. I am grateful to the employment service for the support and the opportunity to start my own business in my hometown," shares Vladislav.
After winning the competition, Vladislav has already registered as a sole proprietor and is actively preparing to launch his business. He is selecting premises, signing a lease agreement, planning renovations, and purchasing goods. The store opening is scheduled for June.
The conditions of war should not stop development. On the contrary, they further highlight the need for new economic opportunities and confident people who are ready to build the country. Young entrepreneurs like Vladislav Zelensky embody this spirit. Their determination and hard work inspire and create examples to follow.
