Prayer expressed in drawings: an exhibition of children's works presented in Donetsk region

Published 24 February 2026 year, 13:04

On the Day of National Prayer for Ukraine, the municipal institution ‘Administration of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve in Svyatogorsk’ presents an online exhibition of children's creative works ‘My dream is a peaceful Ukraine’.

The initiative aims to support the creative activity of children and teenagers and to instil in the younger generation the values of peace, patriotism and national unity. The online exhibition features over 160 children's creative works from Donetsk, Kirovohrad and Lithuania. Such a wide geography of participants testifies to the solidarity of Ukrainians both in Ukraine and abroad, unity in common values and the desire for peace.

The works created by children from different regions and countries are united by a common idea — faith in victory, love for the Motherland and hope for a bright future. They embody a vision of a peaceful future for Ukraine, the affirmation of goodness and justice. Each of them is a profound and sincere artistic expression, full of hope, light and inner strength, formed even in difficult social conditions.

The online exhibition has become an open space for the self-expression of the younger generation and a means of understanding current events through art. In the context of military challenges, children's creativity plays an important role in preserving historical memory, supporting the moral resilience of society and affirming spiritual unity.

We invite everyone to view the exhibition of young artists whose works are a symbol of faith, hope, and the indestructibility of the Ukrainian people.
