The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has launched an updated website for Ukrainian families whose children are studying abroad— https://ukrainian.studies.mon.gov.ua/
The portal contains information on studying the Ukrainian studies component, transferring academic credits earned at schools abroad, the specifics of verifying educational institutions, support for teachers, and other opportunities for maintaining ties with the Ukrainian education system.
On the portal, parents, teachers, and school administrators can:
- find instructions and tables for transferring grades earned in schools in various countries;
- learn more about the Ukrainian Studies component and apply to enroll in the program;
- review the model curriculum for the Ukrainian Studies component;
- review the list of Ukrainian schools that have established distance learning classes for the Ukrainian Studies component;
- view the list of verified Saturday and Sunday schools in various countries around the world where students can study the Ukrainian Studies component program in their local communities;
- learn more about the recognition of teaching experience and professional development opportunities for teachers abroad;
- get answers to frequently asked questions regarding documents, assessment, and verification.
As part of the “Children Abroad” policy, a number of tools have been created to help Ukrainian children stay connected to the national education system. At the same time, information about available learning formats, regulatory changes, and practical solutions was scattered across various sources, making it difficult to find.
