On National Day of Prayer, the communities of Myrne and Velykoluchky held an informational session entitled "The Strength of the Ukrainian People: Presentation of the Book of Remembrance of the Myrne Community."

The online meeting was held as part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities."

The purpose of the event was to honor the memory of the Defenders of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our state, as well as to pray together for Ukraine.

Together with Father Mitrofan, archimandrite of the Holy Protection Monastery (Rakoshino village, Mukachevo district, Zakarpattia region), the participants prayed for peace, unity, and independence in Ukraine.

During the event, participants had the opportunity to see the Mirnenska Community Memorial Book for the first time and talk to the person who was actively involved in its creation. They discussed the main challenges and difficulties encountered in the process.

There was also a meeting with Lyubov Poleva, author of the book "The Soul Lives. We Are All Alive," who collected and preserved in her publication the testimonies of military personnel about the events of 2014–2015 in the Mirnenska community. Participants emphasized the importance of preserving the memory of these events as an integral part of our recent history.

The event ended with a joint prayer for the fallen heroes, their families, and the future of Ukraine.
