Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Lesya Ukrainka Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for literary and artistic works for children and young adults. The deadline for submissions is November 1, 2026.
The competition is held in four categories:
- literary works for children and young adults;
- book illustration for children and young adults;
- theatrical performances for children and young adults;
- feature and animated films for children and young adults.
Requirements for entries: Original works completed and published within the last three years, but no later than six months prior to the submission of the application, are eligible for the Award. Works that have already received other awards are not eligible for participation.
Who Can Nominate Candidates: Nominations are submitted by creative unions, literary and artistic associations, publishing houses, and publishing organizations.
