A series of 10 short videos, each lasting 4–10 minutes, with clear explanations, examples, and tools that can be applied immediately:
- what mentoring is and how it differs from one-off volunteering or charity work;
- who can be a mentor;
- how to build safe, trusting relationships with children and young people, taking into account their age and psychological characteristics;
- how to support the development of independence, resilience, and healthy social connections;
- how to work with a child or young person, rather than for them, while preventing emotional burnout;
- what risks may arise in the mentoring process and how to build your own support network;
- how to get involved in mentoring and develop it in your community.
The educational series is designed so that everyone, regardless of their previous experience, can understand the essence of mentoring and act responsibly and consciously.
It will be useful for those who plan to become mentors, as well as those who already have such experience; volunteers; social and education specialists; and anyone who wants to support children and young people.
The series features Inna Miroshnychenko, Yefim Konstantinovsky, Kirill Nevdokha, Sofia Yudina, Yulia Didula, and Yulia Marchuk. Each of the speakers brings their own perspective and experience—professional, parental, civic, or personal.
