Representatives of the Department of Veterans' Policy of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, together with the Donetsk Regional Center for Social Services, held an online meeting with potential providers of psychological assistance to war veterans and their families.
The event was joined by Tetiana Myronets, Chief Specialist of the Psychological Support Department of the Physical and Mental Health Department of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, who provided comprehensive explanations on
- the procedure for inclusion in the list of providers of psychological assistance to veterans and their families;
- the main changes developed at the initiative of the Ministry of Veterans and approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which significantly simplify the mechanisms for providing free psychological assistance not only to veterans and their loved ones, but also to the families of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine.
The purpose of the event was to inform participants about the goals, conditions and algorithms for implementing the state psychological support program, which is aimed not only at supporting veterans and their families, but also at involving a wide range of specialists in providing quality psychological assistance. It is important that the cost of such services will be reimbursed by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, which makes them affordable for recipients.
We thank all the participants for their active position, exchange of experience and common desire to create an effective system of support for our defenders and their families.
