On October 8, as part of the regional platform “Dialogue Between Government and Business,” a meeting was held focused on the cooperation between Oschadbank JSC and the Donetsk Regional State Administration, as well as opportunities for financial support for communities and businesses in the region as they prepare for the fall-winter period of 2026–2027.
More than 90 representatives of government and business from the Donetsk region participated in the event. Hanna Prasol, head of Oschadbank’s Donetsk Regional Branch, spoke about the available support options.
Participants were presented with financial instruments designed to support businesses, particularly within the framework of the state program “5-7-9%.” Funds can be used to replenish working capital, purchase equipment and vehicles, modernize production, and restore damaged businesses.
Financing for energy independence initiatives was discussed separately. They discussed the purchase of generators, solar power stations, energy storage systems, and other equipment. In particular, certain programs provide for the financing of power generation equipment on preferential terms.
Bank representatives also discussed financing options for the recovery of businesses affected by hostilities and support for the agricultural sector.
During the meeting, community representatives raised the issue of financing energy projects and municipal needs. In particular, they discussed opportunities for securing loans to promote community energy independence and the use of local government guarantees as collateral for municipal loans.
“Dialogue Between Government and Business” continues to serve as a platform for discussing pressing issues facing the region’s entrepreneurs and finding practical solutions to support communities and businesses in the Donetsk region.
