A joint working meeting was held with the participation of the regional state administration, the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in the region, the departments of economy and finance of the regional state administration, district military administrations, military administrations of settlements, as well as heads of structural units of the regional state administration, whose sphere of management includes municipal enterprises with tax debts.
The focus was on the issue of tax debt repayment by municipal enterprises and the search for effective mechanisms for its repayment in wartime conditions.
First Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Yuriy Vinokurov stressed that work on the tax debts of municipal enterprises is one of the key areas of administrative stability in the region, which is located in the combat zone.
The ability of life support enterprises to perform their function—providing people with water, heat, electricity, waste disposal, network maintenance, and emergency repair work—directly depends on financial discipline and proper interaction with tax authorities.
During the discussion, participants reviewed the current state of debt, typical reasons for its accumulation, practical tools and legislative mechanisms for settlement, as well as the possibility of repaying tax debt using local budget funds.
Following the meeting, a decision was made to strengthen cooperation between the military administrations of settlements and tax authorities regarding the repayment of tax debts of municipal enterprises for taxes credited to community budgets.
Yuriy Vinokurov emphasized the need for prompt implementation of agreed decisions and informing the regional state administration about problematic issues that require additional regulation at the level of central executive authorities. The joint work of military administrations at all levels with the State Tax Service should ensure the development of solutions that, on the one hand, will contribute to the repayment of debts and, on the other hand, will maintain the operational capacity of municipal enterprises.
