On June 25, as part of the regional platform “Dialogue Between Government and Business”—established at the direction of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy—an online meeting was held on the topic “New Financing Directions Under the 5-7-9 Program.”
Nearly 90 representatives from the business community, state authorities, and local governments in the Donetsk region participated in the event.
The keynote speaker was Hanna Polozhentseva, Head of the Micro- and Small Business Department at the Donetsk Regional Branch of Oschadbank JSC, who briefed participants on new opportunities under the state program “Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%.”
During the meeting, participants discussed expanding financing options for small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly the possibilities of obtaining loans for investment needs, replenishing working capital, developing production, and implementing business recovery projects. They also reviewed the program’s eligibility criteria, borrower requirements, the application process, and the specifics of working with banking institutions.
Special attention was given to changes in the program aimed at expanding Ukrainian entrepreneurs’ access to financial resources, supporting economic stability, and stimulating the development of small and medium-sized businesses under martial law.
The “Dialogue Between Government and Business” platform remains an important forum for open communication between entrepreneurs, government agencies, and financial institutions, facilitating the timely provision of information to businesses about current government support programs and the search for effective solutions to promote entrepreneurship.
