Published 24 April 2026 year, 12:12

On April 23, 2026, as part of the regional platform “Dialogue Between Government and Business,” established at the behest of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a regular online meeting was held with the participation of business and government representatives from the Donetsk region.

Over 100 participants joined the event.

During the meeting, two pressing topics were discussed: providing employees with personal protective equipment and the specifics of employing minors under martial law.

Representatives of the Eastern Interregional Directorate of the State Labor Service of Ukraine provided relevant explanations, outlining key legal requirements and practical aspects of their implementation.

Participants in the dialogue were provided with explanations regarding the requirements of labor protection legislation, in particular the provision of necessary personal protective equipment to employees. Emphasis was placed on employers’ responsibility for creating safe working conditions, the importance of complying with established standards, and conducting regular inspections.

The meeting also addressed the specifics of employing minors. Participants were briefed on legal restrictions, hiring conditions, working hours, and the need to respect the rights of young workers even under martial law.

The meeting served as a platform for discussing practical issues faced by businesses, as well as for receiving expert advice from representatives of relevant authorities.

The regional platform “Dialogue Between Government and Business” continues its work with the aim of establishing effective cooperation and supporting entrepreneurs in the Donetsk region during wartime.
