From August 8 to 24, the Donetsk Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity held the regional challenge marathon "Paths of Freedom".
The event, dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine, was held as part of the patriotic platform 7 Special Forces of Ukrainians.
More than 800 pupils of out-of-school educational institutions in Donetsk region joined the marathon and shared their photos and drawings. In their works, children depicted national symbols, family traditions, picturesque landscapes of Ukraine, embroidered shirts, amulets, and their own moments from patriotic events, flash mobs, and volunteer initiatives.
The works were evaluated in an open format through social media likes.
It was the audience's support that determined the brightest participants whose works will be included in the collection "Pleiad of Young Patriots of Donetsk Region" after all the events of the cycle are completed:
