The Donetsk Regional Ecological and Naturalistic Center held the regional stage of the All-Ukrainian Nature Conservation Contest "Bird of the Year - 2025", this year dedicated to the spoonbill.
The competition was attended by 468 students from 28 communities of Donetsk Oblast. Young nature lovers presented hundreds of bright and meaningful works united by their love for birds and the nature of their native land. The participants presented their works in four nominations: "Meaningful diverse work", "Nature protection, research and propaganda and practical environmental activities", "The best literary work", "The best drawing of the bird of the year - wrens", "The best achievement, creativity and original perception of the bird fauna".
The winners and prize-winners were awarded with the DOENC diplomas, and the participants received certificates.
