In the Donetsk region, meetings of the Coordination Centers for the Support of the Civil Population were held in June at the Volnovakha and Pokrovsk district state administrations, as well as at 24 city, town, and village military administrations.
Representatives of the Department of Social Protection of the Population and other structural units of the regional state administration participated in these meetings.
Participants of the meeting of the Coordination Center for the Support of the Civil Population at the Volnovakha District State Administration and the District Military Administration discussed the work carried out by the Olhynska village community on the rehabilitation of children in 2025; social protection of internally displaced persons from the Komarska village community; familiarized themselves with the procedure and status of housing subsidies and benefits in 2025 and current changes in the legislation. They paid attention to problematic issues that arise in communities during the provision of assistance to the population.
During the meeting of the Coordination Center for the Support of the Civil Population at the Pokrovsk District State Administration and the District Military Administration, issues regarding the implementation of a health campaign for children in 2025 were discussed; they became acquainted with the work of the support centers for internally displaced persons "SELIDOVE.UA".
In the territorial communities, during the meetings of the Coordination Centers for the Support of the Civil Population, the following urgent issues were raised:
the implementation of support and integration programs for IDPs and residents who have moved to safer regions of Ukraine, social protection and support for Defenders of Ukraine, their family members, and the families of deceased (fallen) Defenders of Ukraine;
analysis of citizens' appeals and the needs of internally displaced persons, provision of material and humanitarian assistance to the population;
- work with international and charitable organizations, foundations, partners to provide comprehensive assistance to internally displaced persons;
- activities of support centers/hubs for IDPs, resilience centers;
- psychosocial support and mental health support within the framework of the All-Ukrainian mental health program "How are you?";
- provision of administrative and social services;
- work of councils on internally displaced persons, Coordination Centers for the Support of the Civil Population;
- development of youth policy in communities, activities of Youth Councils;
- preparation for the heating season 2025 - 2026;
- formation of a barrier-free environment in communities, organization of employment for people with disabilities;
- organization of work on the registration of damaged and destroyed property in the territories of communities;
- organization of medical services for the population;
- organization of rehabilitation and recreation for children in 2025;
- educational process under martial law;
- work of child protection services under martial law;
- conducting events to honor the memory of deceased (fallen) Defenders of Ukraine; patriotic, cultural, artistic, and sports events;
- prevention and counteraction to domestic violence and/or gender-based violence.
Attention was paid to the evacuation of the population, families with children, persons with reduced mobility, and persons with disabilities to safe regions of Ukraine and their subsequent resettlement.
