A meeting on the implementation of veteran policy was held in Donetsk region

On January 27, an online meeting was held on the implementation of veteran policy in the region, chaired by the deputy head of the regional state administration, Oleksandr Shevchenko.

During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:

  • implementation of the Procedure for providing assistance in resolving housing issues for certain categories of internally displaced persons who lived in the temporarily occupied territory;
  • implementation of experimental projects approved by resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine:

No. 1365 of October 23, 2025, "Certain issues of implementing an experimental project to provide long-term medical care services to certain categories of persons who defended the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine";

No. 1610 of November 26, 2025, "Certain issues regarding the implementation of an experimental project on the provision of services for the correction of scarred skin changes after injuries and burns to certain categories of persons who defended the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine";

No. 1060 of 22 August 2025, "Certain issues concerning the implementation of a pilot project to provide adaptation services to certain categories of persons who defended the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine and have completely or partially lost their sight";

No. 1476 of November 7, 2025, "Certain issues regarding the implementation of a pilot project to provide services to strengthen the capabilities of certain categories of persons with disabilities who defended the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine."

At the meeting, they agreed to coordinate joint activities, exchange information, and regularly monitor the implementation of social support programs for war veterans and their families, as joint efforts by government agencies will ensure the proper implementation of social support programs for these groups.
