The online lesson was prepared and conducted by teachers and students from Sloviansk Secondary School No. 15 (Grades 1–3) and the Svyatorivka Secondary School (Grades 1–3) of the Dobropillia City Council.
Students from general secondary, extracurricular, and vocational education institutions in the Donetsk region joined the event in real time.
The central theme of the “Lesson of Resilience” was fostering global geospatial thinking among the younger generation. Through games, students deepened their knowledge of Ukraine’s geographical location and natural resources, as well as its participation in international organizations, and worked with Google Maps.
An interesting pedagogical innovation by the teachers conducting the “Lesson of Resilience” was the organization of group projects using a virtual whiteboard. In a team-based format, an educational online journey through the country took place, which helped foster interest and interaction.
Conducting such a lesson provided a meaningful opportunity to reinforce patriotic values, foster national consciousness, and reflect on the challenges shaping the current stage of the country’s development.
