#Coordination_Centers_a_tool_for_finding_solutions
This week, a meeting of the Coordination Centers for Civilian Support was held at the Bakhmut District State Administration, District Military Administration, Dobropolye, Lyman, Selydivsk, Kramatorsk and Avdiivka City Military Administrations, Sartana Settlement Military Administration, which was joined by representatives of the Department of Social Protection of the Regional State Administration and other structural units of the Regional State Administration.
During the meeting of the Coordination Center for Civilian Support at the Bakhmut District State Administration and the District Military Administration, they discussed the preparation and conduct of the 2025 recreation campaign. To date, 74 children from privileged categories have received recreation services, including: 42 children were treated at the Emerald City Sanatorium and Health Center for Social Rehabilitation (Orynin village, Khmelnytsky region), 12 children had a rest at the Illara Recreation Complex (Irshava, Zakarpattia region). Irshava, Zakarpattia oblast), 13 children visited a sports camp in Riga as part of a cultural and educational exchange with the Republic of Latvia, 7 children were rehabilitated at the State Enterprise “International Children's Center ”Artek" (1 child in Kyiv, Pushcha-Vodytsia, 6 children in Bereznyky, Zakarpattia oblast). The participants paid attention to the issue of providing medical and psychological assistance to the population affected by the military aggression of the Russian Federation. IDPs from Bakhmut district receive medical services on a regular basis in centers established in the cities of Dnipro, Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, and Vinnytsia.
During the meetings of the Coordination Centers for Civilian Support, the following urgent issues were raised in the territorial communities:
- implementation of programs to support and integrate IDPs and residents who have moved to safer regions of Ukraine, social protection and support for the Defenders of Ukraine, their families and family members of the fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine;
- analysis of citizens' appeals and needs of IDPs, provision of material and humanitarian assistance to the population;
- work with international and charitable organizations, foundations, partners to provide comprehensive assistance to IDPs;
- activities of IDP support centers/hubs
Attention was paid to the evacuation of the population, families with children, people with limited mobility and people with disabilities to safe regions of Ukraine and their further resettlement.
Following the meetings, decisions were made and appropriate instructions were given on the issues raised.
